I guess I should start off by saying that I am sorry that it has taken me so long to update Kyle's blog! It has been a very busy last couple of months!!!! No more excuses! I added lots of new fun pics from X-mas for you all to enjoy! Kyle has really grown these last couple of months. He is now rolling over and even trying to sit up!!! He needs a little support, but he is doing really well.
Seems like X-mas just came and went so fast! Kyle's Uncle John and Uncle Jeff were home for the holidays. Kyle really enjoyed meeting his Uncle John for the first time! He really had quite an effect on him. It was so funny, because when Kyle would fuss, John would look at him and say, "Big boys don't cry." Amazingly, Kyle stopped. I wish I had that power!!!! :)
Well, we also had a very big suprise on Thanksgiving day. Kevin and I found out that we are expecting! PHEW!!! What a busy life we are going to have!!!!! :) I go for my first Doctor's appt on Jan 2. I decided to wait a little bit ( I am 9 weeks today) and maybe I will get a good first ultrasound. This pregnancy has already been very different than Kyle. I guess a little bit of me hopes that this might mean I am having a girl, although a brother for Kyle would be fun too!
So, you can see we have had a very busy and exciting last couple of months. I hope that you and your family have had a wonderful holiday season and a happy new year!!!

Happy Halloween!
This week was a fun week. First of all, Kyle discovered his "volume" button. So, every squeal, scream whatever gets progressively loud! He is so funny, because he will squeal or scream loudly, and then all of a sudden he will stick that lip out like he was going to cry and then out of no where, laugh! Gosh, this age (4 months on November 8) is so much fun!
Kyle had his first Halloween. He was dressed as a Penguin. We decided that there would be more kids coming to my parents house than ours, so I took Kyle over there to answer the door. He just loves other kids and I knew he would enjoy seeing all of them come to trick or treat.
When I took Kyle to have his pictures made (by the way, they still are not posted on the internet! As Charlie Brown would say... "UGH!"), he cried when I put him in his costume. So, when the time came for me to put on his costume, I was a little nervous. Luckily, he was a true sport and didn't cry. It was also 70 outside and if you look closely, you will see that that costume is awfully warm, so he didn't wear it all night. By the time the evening was over, he switched costumes from penguin to true redneck- naked with a diaper and on my hip! :) Gretchen Wilson would be so proud!
Anyway, I hope you all had a Happy Halloween!

Week of October 22, 2007
I have been playing around with this blog this week and looking at different people's pages and have picked up a few things. I know I wore Kevin out playing with it!!! Oh well!! I decided the best way to let people know what is happening with the Jacobs family is to update this blog every week or two depending on how much time Kyle will sleep or play for me to do this!
One thing I saw that I really liked was how mom's and dad's will leave commentaries on their kids so that people that may not live here or see them on a regular basis can at least feel like they were here! My friend Cindy did a wonderful job with hers. So, I thought I might try it out!
It is amazing how big that he is getting. It seems like yesterday that he was just born! I know that you hear that all the time, but you never really realize it until you have your first child and watch him grow every day!
Kyle had a big week this week! His Uncle Jeff came to town for his 26th birthday, Kyle had his first photo session, and he spent some time up at his daddy's office! (See the picture we took this week!) The photo session was so much fun! Like the wise mother that I am, I listened to all of my friends recommendations as to where to have his pictures made, unfortunately the place is 50 minutes from our house. So, I packed up the car, drove the 50 minutes in the pouring down rain with a hungry kid crying in the back seat to his first photo session. You should have seen us! When we got there, I had to carry Kyle, his clothes (which I have learned to take along with me instead of dress him in them due to the reflux), his bag and the umbrella inside the store! I was a site to see! I know I really looked like a first time Mom! What other Mother would drag their 3 month old out in the rain for pictures???? Anyway, he hammed it up for the photographer. The pictures turned out great. They will be available on the web within 5-7 business days. I will let you know as soon as they are available to view. Anyway, we had a great week and I have enjoyed every crazy moment!!!!
